When the description of a game includes phrases like "a love letter to...," it raises a red flag for me. However, when it comes to Sea of Stars, these descriptions aren't exaggerated, much like the comparisons to the iconic Chrono Trigger. This independent game appears to blend the finest qualities of iconic JRPGs from the genre's golden age. What the best RPGs from SNES and Mega Drive had to offer is served here in a modern sauce.
The delightful visual setting is enhanced by an excellent soundtrack. Thanks to Sabotage studio, we received a title that keep us glued to the screen, whether we are genre veterans or if Sea of Star will be our first experience with classic JRPGs. Of course, we can find some cons there, but where can't we?
