Sony has released a video demonstrating the games due to hit the PlayStation 5 console this year. Interestingly, among the items presented are two remakes of games whose release dates have not yet been announced. These are the aforementioned Silent Hill 2 - developed by Bloober Team - and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

  1. The publisher of both of these titles is Konami, which has yet to officially confirm or deny the information provided to us by Sony.
  2. It is possible that the Japanese company accidentally revealed to us the release date of these eagerly awaited remakes before schedule.
  3. However, we have not learned when specifically the remakes will hit the market. We still have to wait for these details to be clarified.

Recall that Silent Hill 2 is a remake of the game from 2001 with the same title. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will instead be based on the the third installment of the popular stealth game series, released in 2004.

From the video above, we can learn that a total of 18 titles will be coming to PlayStation 5 this year, including exclusives such as Rise of the Ronin, The Last of Us: Part II Remastered or Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
