One of the games showcased at the first State of Play in 2024 was the first-person shooter Judas. The trailer that you can watch below gives an insight into its complex story. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the release date.

Judas is a game of the Ghost Story Games studio, established by Ken Levine, the developer of the BioShock series. In a short post, the developer described how players will be able to influence the development of the game's plot, as well as their relationships with NPCs.

  1. First of all, the narrative of Judas is intended to center on the characters, similar to the significant role played by Elizabeth in BioShock Infinite.
  2. In the game, we will play as the titular Judas, who was attempted to be turned into a model citizen but ultimately triggered a revolution. His - our - actions are to be the driving force of the story. We choose who to befriend and who to betray.
  3. We will do this on the streets of the cosmic city Mayflower, where citizens are trained to spy on each other and "tear each other to shreds" for the smallest offenses. And where machines control almost all aspects of life - from business to art.
